Chaos Ensues at NCAA Indoor Championships As Arkansas Razorbacks Face Major Setback

Bumping. Obstructing. A whole baton striking incident. The relay races this indoor season have been nothing less than chaotic. And each time an incident has happened, rules have come under question. Unfortunately, day 2 of the 2025 NCAA Indoor Championships was no exception. A 4x400m relay team felt that they were wronged. But instead of keeping quiet, they appealed. Did anything good come out of it?

Well, we’re talking about none other than the Arkansas Razorbacks. As per an X post by Travis Miller, the NBC Sports Director of Social Media, something went down in the men’s 4x400m relay finals first section. Apparently, the USC & Florida anchors were held up by the officials for the exchange in the final section of the 4x400m. They had to sprint past the officials at the last second and get the batons on the run.

Also, the Arkansas Razorbacks were knocked off the track on the first leg of the 4x400m final. Due to this, the Arkansas Razorbacks ended up appealing to the NCAA. They were potentially disqualified, however, they appealed: “We’ll run it again, I don’t care.” Well, this is a major twist in the relay results.

Texas A&M has now been DQed and Arkansas are protesting to try and re-run the race by themselves.

A&M’s 4×4 DQ drops them from 6th to 10th in the team scores https://t.co/ELIWncDWpe pic.twitter.com/8mrPDJaMg5
