Coach Joe Sacco Dismissed Blaming Trent Frederic Trade for Boston Bruins’ Brutal Defeat

It all happened too fast at the Boston Bruins camp. Hours before the Bruins took on the Nashville Predators, they announced that young talent Trent Frederic was injured. Having missed the last three games already, the player moved to injured reserve (IR), before becoming involved in a three-way trade, and ended up with the Oilers. Naturally, coach Joe Sacco couldn’t avoid the topic after the Predators trashed the Bruins 6-3 on the ice.

Yet, coach Sacco had all the answers when the reporters asked if the upheaval and three transfers right ahead of the game affected the Bruins’ “psyche” going into the game. Joe Sacco’s answer to such questions was a resounding, no. “I just don’t think that,” the coach told reporters, about Frederic’s trade affecting the Bruins, during the post-game presser.
