Dak Prescott Shows Exemplary Character at Children’s Cancer Fund as Cowboys QB and Wife Get Heartfelt Reception

“Cancer is personal to me. Having my mother go through her battle and her adversity,” Dak Prescott stated earlier. Clearly, after losing his mother, Peggy, due to colon cancer in 2013, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback is committing his life to supporting cancer patients, especially kids. “I will always be here to do everything that I can to help champion against this fight against cancer,” Dak, 31, also remarked. It was in tandem with the motive behind his advocacy for cancer research and prevention during the Children’s Cancer Fund Gala event that was held in April 2024. And, impressively, his fiancée Sarah Jane Ramos is also actively involved in supporting the fight against cancer. Now, the NFL’s most buzzing couple once again captured the fan attention. But what is it about? Well, it is about their combined efforts to battle against cancer.

Enthralled at this moment, the honorary chairman of the Children’s Cancer Fund, Prescott, took to his official IG handle to share the rewarding moments. The two-time First-team All-SEC honoree at Mississippi, Dak, reshared the IG story of the nonprofit organization, Children’s Cancer Fund. The captivating post picture features the NFL QB with his pregnant fiancée, Sarah.

The couple, who got engaged last year on October 18, 2024, attended the CCF gala to support the kids’ cancer patients. And, the charitable organization gave the perfect reception to them. The post’s caption is perfect for the wholesome event.  “Look who arrived. And our hearts are melting!!” they wrote. It indeed showcased their gratefulness for the NFL QB.

Undoubtedly, Dak’s exemplary character has shown up again at Children’s Cancer Fund. Prescott, who is recovering from a hamstring injury whilst getting ready for the upcoming season, illuminates the spirits of kids who are battling with cancer. Even his inspirational off-field activities have not been overlooked by the philanthropic company.

They also shared another picture, featuring him with cancer patients. “Q1 on and off the field. Seeing _4dak light up the room for these brave kids was everything. True leadership isn’t just on the field- it’s in moments like this,” they mentioned in their IG story.

Besides Prescott and his partner, many VIP guests, including former US president George Bush, also joined the event.  However, Prescott had previously won people over with their charitable endeavors. Even last year, during the 34th Annual Gala event, Prescott raised $2.7M for pediatric cancer research.

Additionally, Prescott’s future wife is also equally invested in this cause. Many times before, they were spotted together helping cancer patients. The dynamic duo also runs their charitable company, the Faith Fight Finish Foundation (FFF), which the QB founded to honor his late mom and support colorectal cancer research.

Interestingly, this time, the couple drew enormous attention after the soon-to-be parents of their second child revealed the wholesome family update.

Dak Prescott and his fiancée make an exciting announcement

On 8th April, Cowboys QB delighted his fans with the huge update about the 2nd baby with his fiancée Sarah Jane Ramos, on his IG account. He shared a beautiful sneak peek of  Ramos’s baby shower and disclosed the gender of his second baby. “& there’s another Girl Coming,” he mentioned in his post caption, adding red eye heart emojis. It showcased his excitement for welcoming their 2nd daughter.

The couple, whose love relationship first caught the public eye in September 2023 at a Dallas Cowboys game, welcomed their first daughter, Margaret Jane “MJ” Rose, in February 2024. Interestingly, during an interview with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit back in December, Sarah revealed her second pregnancy.

At this moment, she also adored her NFL partner as the ‘best girl dad’. “It’s so beautiful to watch, and I can’t wait to do the same with MJ and watch Dak become a girl dad, part two. He’s perfect. He’s the best girl dad ever,” she remarked. However, the name of their upcoming baby is yet to be disclosed. But, baby no. 2 will share the Dak’s birth name, Rayne, as her middle name, which is indeed a heartfelt tribute.
