Dana White Has Only 1 Thing to Say About Jon Jones’ UFC Return as Tom Aspinall Remains Silent

Well, well, well! Dana White broke his silence on yet another rumor about a fight that was seemingly speculated to have gone off the rails. Interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall, according to certain reports, was going to put his interim title up for grabs for the second time against Ciryl Gane, with plans for a Jon Jones fight rumored to have fallen off. But the 55-year-old claims that’s not true.

It was last year when Dana White claimed that he believes there is no bigger fight in all of MMA than the heavyweight clash between the interim champion and the undisputed champion, Jon Jones. He appeared to still maintain that sentiment when he dismissed rumors about the plans for that fight falling off, and assured that the title unification fight will happen in 2025.

“Everything you hear is bulls–t until we say,” Dana White stated at the UFC Kansas City post-fight press conference“I have said it many times that’s a fight that we wanna make this year… Still super confident [that it will happen].”
