Dana White Stunned by Las Vegas’ Homeless Man’s 5 Words After UFC CEO Declines Political Aspirations

Dana White couldn’t be more surprised. Well, there were fight fans who believed that the UFC head honcho would do really good as a politician. After all, his camaraderie with the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, was something that impressed the entire world. He not only supported the POTUS during his run for the presidency for a second time, but also endorsed him on multiple occasions. He even got to introduce Trump at the 2024 Republican National Convention. Despite that, the UFC boss had a strong disgust for politics. But the fighting community didn’t give up on pushing White for political greatness.

During his time in Las Vegas, White came across an electrical box on a sidewalk, where a homeless person seemed to have dropped a message for the UFC fans. The text read, “DANA WHITE FOR THE PRESIDENT.” Just below that text, the words, “UFC RULES,” took White by surprise. Stunned by the message, the UFC CEO decided to click a photograph of the electrical box and shared it on his Instagram Story. In the caption, White wrote, “Las Vegas Homeless LOVE some UFC.”

Does this mean the UFC boss would consider taking up the role of the POTUS? Well, he had previously stated that there was no way he would step into the political realm ever again. During a conversation with The New Yorker, White said, “I’m never f—ing doing this again. I want nothing to do with this s—. It’s gross. It’s disgusting.” However, it was true that he was one of the many reasons why Trump rose victorious in the 2024 Presidential elections.

White’s stance on becoming the next US President was already clear. But his respect for the current POTUS was never-ending. In an interview in 2018, Dana White claimed, “I would never say anything negative about Donald Trump because he was there when other people weren’t.” But do you know the real reason behind his words? Of course, it’s related to the friendship that they share. And their closeness was reflected by how Trump asked White to introduce him at the 2024 RNC.

Dana White reveals how his friendship with Donald Trump went even deeper

There was a time when the UFC faced quite a bit of trouble with respect to getting a venue to host fights. But Trump swooped in to White’s aid and let him use his hotel as the venue. That was when White decided that he would never back down on helping his friend when need came. And that need came in knocking on his door right before the Republican National Convention 2024. It was an iconic moment for the world as the UFC CEO introduced his friend and POTUS.

Talking about the backstory to introducing Trump at the convention, White said, “[Donald Trump] calls me up and says, ‘I would like you to speak for me at the convention.’ Everybody, and I mean f—ing everybody, told me not to do it. I’m like, ‘Are you crazy, man?.’ Just for the record, when Trump called me, he said, ‘Uh, listen, if you don’t want to do this, I completely understand. It’s no big deal. But I would be honored if you would speak at the convention’. Yeah, there’s no f—ing way in hell I’m not doing that for him. Then once I spoke, you know, our friendship went to a whole another level.”

There are several occasions when White showed his support for the POTUS. When a bullet grazed past Trump during a rally, White stood up to call him a real ‘bad—’. He believed that the President was indeed a special man. On the other hand, Trump often graced the UFC arenas with his presence. Needless to say, White usually had a special seat for him at the events.

What do you think of White as the new President of the United States? Do you think he should give up on fight promotion and focus on becoming the President? Let us know what you think in the comments down below.
