Dee Devlin Left Speechless as Conor McGregor Teaches Son Impressive Boxing Drills

It won’t come as a surprise if Conor McGregor decides to hang up his fighting gloves since he hasn’t been able to find his way back inside the Octagon since 2021. While it could result in a heartbreak for some people, the former UFC double champion doesn’t have anything to worry about. It seems like McGregor’s legacy will be carried on by his son, Conor Jr., who is forging a grip on the fighting side of things.

With a household of four children, there’s no doubt that Conor McGregor would have one child who’d follow in his footsteps. Many sons and daughters of siblings have adopted their fathers’ paths and have done pretty well themselves. Now, it looks like McGregor’s son could be the next one because he excelled in a brief combat drill with ‘The Notorious’.

McGregor shared a story on Instagram of him spending some quality time with Conor Jr. with his fiancee alongside them as they engaged in shadow boxing and dodging drills. The UFC star started slow, but picked up the pace and guess what? His eldest showed impressive defense, ducking and dodging punches at great speed, and leaving his mother, Dee Devlin‘s jaw wide open as she expressed her amazement.

Well, Conor McGregor’s son is one kid that may not be getting messed with in school, and that’s for sure. It’s no surprise that Conor Jr. is showing great promise at an early age, and if you’re wondering why, it’s because his father had always planned for his son to become a fighter and started his training at a very early age.

Moreover, Conor Jr. isn’t the only one who seems to be fighting in the future because he’s going to be joined by one of his siblings, according to his father. Here’s what the former double champion had to say.

Conor McGregor claims to have started training his 1-year-old

In November 2023, Conor McGregor and his fiancee Dee Devlin had their fourth child, extending their family to five members. Named Mack McGregor, the UFC star’s youngest turned just a few months ago and judging by what his father had to say, he’s started his training as well. In fact, ‘The Notorious’ claims that he envisions Mack going on to have a stellar career in combat sports.

“My son Mack McGregor, to the right with the gloves on. He fights to keep them on! The future is STRONG! The future is McGregor,” Conor McGregor tweeted a few weeks ago. As a father, the 36-year-old has been pretty hands on with his children and has shared numerous clips of training them, and this dedication could pay off massively when they grow up to compete professionally.

However, it’s never easy to carry a legacy as big as Conor McGregor’s forged, so there will be a lot of pressure on his children to do well or even better than their father did. Nevertheless, let us know what you think in the comments down below.
