Absolute flex. And honestly, dude earned it—Stingley was straight-up clamping in 2024, stacking 54 tackles, 18 passes defended, and five picks, which got him Pro Bowl and First-Team All-Pro nods. Plus, his stats were straight-up disrespectful to opposing QBs—he led all corners in yards allowed per target (4.9) and only let deep passes connect 21.4% of the time. Basically, WRs were running routes for cardio when he was on the field.
This deal, finessed by super-agent David Mulugheta, is a major W for Stingley and a power move by Houston.
