As of the 2025 season, Derrick Henry will be entering the 10th season of his NFL career. And what better way to celebrate his 10th year in the NFL than with a grand paycheck? The Ravens running back has just landed a massive two-years, $30m contract extension after his remarkable performance last season.
As per a post on X by Adam Schefter, Derrick Henry has just landed the biggest deal in NFL history for someone in his position. Schefter wrote, “Derrick Henry and the Baltimore Ravens reached agreement today on a two-year, $30 million extension that includes $25 million fully guaranteed over the next two seasons, per Todd France of Athletes First. It is the largest deal in NFL history for a running back over 30 years old.” Derrick Henry will now be playing with a contract value of around $37M through 2027. He was only supposed to make $7M on his expiring deal. But now that number becomes a much more attractive one. That’s how you celebrate a player who has dedicated a decade to the NFL.
