Boulder, Colorado, witnessed a horrifying incident on Sunday afternoon after a man launched an unprovoked attack on a peaceful gathering at Pearl Street Mall in Boulder. Police said that the attacker was identified as Mohamed Sabry Soliman, who allegedly used a “makeshift flamethrower and other incendiary devices” to injure people who were gathered to raise awareness of the hostages held by Hamas. The FBI on Monday reported the casualties to be eight people, which included four women and four men, all between the ages of 52-88. Now, 2 days after the grotesque attack, tributes are pouring in for the victims, and Coach Prime has also joined in with his heartfelt condolences.
Deion Sanders took to X on June 3rd and paid tribute to the victims of the tragedy, sending a message to stay strong and resilient. “I am truly troubled by the events that took place on Pearl St. I pray that all that has been affected will regain their peace, joy, & stability. I absolutely love our community in Boulder, & I’m praying for us to come together in this dysfunctional time,” wrote Deion Sanders.
