Donald Trump Caught Lying as Calls Mount Against His Patrick Mahomes Claim After Chiefs QB’s Reaction to POTUS’ Super Bowl Decision

The 47th US president Donald Trump will remember the night of February 5, 2025, for a historic gaffe. On Wednesday, he signed an executive order banning trans girls from women’s sports under Title IX. Tommy Tuberville, the Alabama senator and former football head coach, was also present in the audience. Suddenly, Patrick Mahomes was in the discussion.

While praising Tuberville, Trump said, “You know, his quarterback was named Mahomes. He was a great college coach. I said how good was he?” The POTUS then claimed that Tuberville told him, “You don’t wanna know how good. He made me into a great coach.” Trump then praised the Grim Reaper for his talent and deemed him ‘a good guy’ for his overall personality. But wait? Is that the truth? Really?

Tuberville was at Texas Tech from 2010 to 2012, while Patrick Mahomes arrived there in 2014. So, did the POTUS lie, or was it a mistake? Whatever it may be, fans went crazy on social media. They immediately started trolling him.

Fans roast Donald Trump over Patrick Mahomes Gaffe

While one fan gave him a pass for focusing on ‘actual problems’ rather than thinking about who trained the Chiefs QB and wrote, “Maybe he has more important things to worry about than who coached Mahomes in college.” Another person defended the President by hyperextension of a coach’s role, claiming Tuberville had some role in signing Mahomes to the college and tweeted, “Tuberville left right before Mahomes started at Texas Tech, and likely recruited him at least.

Maybe he has more important things to worry about than who coached Mahomes in college.
