Chiefs‘ seasoned kicker, Harrison Butker, found himself in an unexpected post-Super Bowl mishap! Already reeling from being a non-factor in a dismal loss, his evening got worse. On returning to the locker room at the Caesars Superdome, he wasn’t able to find his pre-game suit. As his locker was positioned right next to Patrick Mahomes‘ locker, he quipped that the thieves had perhaps made a faulty judgment, burglarizing his locker instead of the QB’s.
But the theft did not deter the spirits of Butker, who handled the situation positively. After showering, he was left wearing a towel. He simply donned the team training gear during the post-game get-together. Recently, he took to his Instagram handle to post a strong message, quoting Galatians 6:3, “For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.”
Moreover, he expressed gratitude for everything that happened this season, including the ups and downs that have God’s will in it. He wrote, “Grateful for this season and all of the memories. Thankful for the wins and the losses, the successes and failures. God is good, we are nothing without Him!”
Stay tuned while we bring you more!
