“It’s one thing for you sports fanatics to come to my page after I made a really big life choice and talk crazy and it’s another thing entirely for you to come to my page and harass me and call me crazy names over something a rumor, a f*****g story that is 100% flat out not true… I would never do that for two main reasons which I actually don’t feel the obligation to explain to you. Just that it would not happen and it’s not real,” she said.

Nikki thinks the “sports trolls” are going after her because of the Heat’s recent struggles. She is becoming the target for fans to vent their anger. But she didn’t just squash the rumors. Nikki Spoelstra also helped bring peace to Muscarella and her family amidst a wave of public outrage and probably a lot of confusion.
“I already talked to the girlfriend. I already talked to the mom and the three of us are here rolling our eyes at you knuckleheads. Oh my gosh and the reel that I posted about women in male-dominated fields about dating men under 25 because they’re more easilt manipulated, it’s a f*****g joke guys,” Spoelstra further explained.
Of course, her response, no matter how convincing, isn’t going to stop the trolling. It’s hard to stay a public figure and reason with people who want to create a damaging narrative. The bottom line is no facts are supporting the story. Moreover, if Nikki Spoelstra has offered her support to Cierra Muscarella and her family, it seems to be an indicator of her innocence.
The trolling never stops for Erik Spoelstra’s ex-wife
Nothing severe ever happened between Nikki and Erik Spoelstra that’s known to the public. The split was an “amicable” decision, as per their statement. There were never any reports of turmoil or difficulties. It was a decision they felt was best for their lives while they still remained committed to co-parenting their three children.
However, even her decision to part ways with the Heat head coach didn’t come with peace.
Notably, right after finalizing the divorce, Erik Spoelstra signed a record-breaking $120 million extension with the Miami Heat.
