“He Had Me Tested” – MMA Legend Exposes Dana White For Accusing Him Of Using Steroids Before Fighting Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champ

It’s no secret that Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and UFC CEO Dana White haven’t always seen eye to eye. The former UFC light heavyweight champion has been vocal about his grievances, accusing White of wrongdoings ranging from interfering with his sponsorship deals to contract disputes. However, in a recent revelation, ‘Rampage’ shared a moment when White outright suspected him of being “juiced to the gills.”

Rampage Jackson’s former rival and UFC Hall of Famer, Forrest Griffin, recently appeared on the JAXXON Podcast, where he recalled an interesting exchange between Jackson and Dana White ahead of their UFC 86 showdown. Before the fight—which Griffin won via decision—White approached Jackson at the start of his training camp. At the time, the 46-year-old looked noticeably bigger, prompting White to suspect he was on steroids. Jackson, however, didn’t take the accusation lightly.

“Before the training camp started [for the Forrest Griffin fight] Dana saw me somewhere. I can’t even remember. It was somewhere in Vegas or something like that,” ‘Rampage’ Jackson revealed on his podcast. “Maybe reading our contract or something. He saw men, and I was off-season [and] I was heavier. He was like, ‘Man, you blow up after your fights,’ and stuff like that. ‘Are you on steroids?’”

The former UFC light heavyweight champion added, “I was like, ‘Dana, really? You think I’m on steroids?’ He said, ‘Only when people are on steroids do they blow up.’” In addition to those accusations, Jackson also revealed that White took extra measures to make sure he wasn’t lying about the steroid use by subjecting him to out-of-competition drug tests long before the fight took since he and Forrest Griffin were both filming and competing as coaches in ‘The Ultimate Fighter 7’ at that time. “He had me tested months before your fight. He’s never done that before and has never done that since,” Jackson added.

But this steroid accusation wasn’t the only negative thing that happened to him before Jackson fought Forrest Griffin. Dana White even bet against the former UFC champion in that fight, and that’s exactly what happened.

Dana White wanted Forrest Griffin to beat Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson

Forrest Griffin achieved his UFC dream at UFC 86, defeating Rampage Jackson to claim the light heavyweight title. According to Jackson, it seemed like Griffin had the full backing of Dana White heading into the fight. Jackson was stunned when the UFC CEO questioned him about using steroids, which led him to believe he had fallen out of White’s favor while Griffin was the clear favorite in his eyes.

“Are you and Dana [White] best friends?… He loves you, man…[After the d–g test] I was like, ‘You the golden goose’…Yeah, you the golden goose,” ‘Rampage’ Jackson claimed during the same episode. Well, even though the former UFC star felt like the cards were stacked against him, he and his opponent both went on to have legendary careers for themselves in MMA.

Well, it seems like there are a lot more issues than we thought Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson has with Dana White, and we wait to see what more he reveals about his issues with the UFC CEO in the future. Meanwhile, let us know your thoughts in the comments down below.
