Mark Zuckerberg has adopted a more physically active lifestyle in recent years, from jiu-jitsu to bow hunting. Brendan Schaub, on the other hand, questioned Zuckerberg’s honesty about his hunting skills during a talk on the latest JRE Fight Companion. This came after Zuckerberg claimed to like bow hunting but couldn’t remember the name of his bow, which made Schaub doubtful. Joe Rogan, however, defended Zuckerberg while also revealing that the META CEO is taking TRT.
While defending Zuckerberg’s hobby, Joe Rogan began talking about his physical transformation. With him being much larger than before, the JRE host speculated about the Meta CEO’s use of testosterone. “He’s doing testosterone; he’s doing Jiu Jitsu,” Rogan said before adding, “I don’t know if he’s doing test. I hope he’s doing test. He certainly looks a lot thicker. When he came in, I was laughing at him like, ‘Your neck looks bigger. Look at your neck.’”
Bryan Callen also noted Zuckerberg’s noticeable transformation, calling this version “Zuckerberg 2.0.” Joe Rogan further underlined that hard physical work brings a major change to a person’s mindset, adding, “Hard work physically makes you appreciate some masculine aspects of life.” So, this could be the reason behind the META CEO wanting to bring a major change in his life by adding more testosterone.

As for his bow-hunting skills, Joe Rogan revealed on the podcast that the Facebook founder hunts wild pigs on his Kauai island. The UFC commentator said that while Mark Zuckerberg may have forgotten the name of his bow, he does bow hunt. As a serious archery fanatic, he said that he practices archery every day and never forgets his bow, whereas Zuckerberg appears to take it more casually. So, he may not know what type of release or bow he is using, but he does take part in bowhunting. But why is the META CEO bringing such major changes to his lifestyle?
Mark Zuckerberg tells Joe Rogan why masculine energy is needed in the corporate world
On The Joe Rogan Experience #2255, Mark Zuckerberg discussed the changing dynamics of business culture. During the nearly three-hour talk, the Meta CEO stated that modern workplaces have shifted away from conventional masculine attributes, which he feels are still necessary for leadership and corporate success. According to Zuckerberg, there should be a balance of male and feminine energy in the corporate world, but he believes the pendulum has swung too far one way.
“Masculine energy I think is good, and obviously society has plenty of that, but I think that corporate culture was really trying to get away from it,” Zuckerberg told Joe Rogan. He further added, “It’s like you want feminine energy; you want masculine energy. I think that that’s all good. But I do think the corporate culture sort of had swung toward being this somewhat more neutered thing.” Zuckerberg highlighted that masculinity in leadership is not about toxicity but about instilling a competitive, aggressive mentality that can drive corporate success.
Zuckerberg’s position on masculine energy is consistent with his personal change over the years. Apart from being heavily involved in mixed martial arts (MMA) and earning a blue belt in jiu-jitsu, his aforementioned bow-hunting hobbies further prove that he firmly stands behind his beliefs and wants to reach the peak of physical and mental discipline. But what do you think? Do you agree with his opinions? Let us know in the comments.
