Hockey Analyst Reveals Huge Trade Speculation as NHL Trade Deadline Takes Center Stage

As the NHL regular season is going into full swing, so the NHL trades and updates. The NHL trade deadline has been set at March 7, 2025, and 32 teams have to buckle up for the best in the future to trade the potentially unsuitable. Such important NHL trade updates hit the hockey world after NHL Network’s reporter revealed his important updates.

NHL national reporter, Elliotte Friedman was in a convo with experts where he was asked about Brock Boeser. It is highly expected that Vancouver Canucks would not extend Brock Boeser’s contract and trade him. But what did Friedman say?

The insider said, “I think with Boeser, I think the issue there is for the Canucks’ term. I don’t think they really want to go past five years. Now, when someone says they really don’t want to go past five, I always wonder, okay, if they can get to six, is there something with six that could work both ways?” Boeser had signed a three-year $19,950,000 deal with the Vancouver Canucks in 2022, which is about to end shortly.

And talking about the Vancouver Canucks situation with Brock Boeser, Elliotte Friedman further said, “But I think the Canucks are in a situation where their preference is to stay around five years on Besser. The one thing I remember about Vancouver, Bruce, and you know you worked there, is they were nowhere with JT Miller, and then they decided they were going to get it done, and they got it done two days later.”

But wait, wanna know more about Brock Boeser’s trade and the actual situation? Stay tuned, this is a developing story!
