How Did Dick Jauron Die? Revealing Reason Behind Ex-Bears Head Coach’s Tragic Death

Once the NFL Coach of the Year with the Chicago Bears, Dick Jauron unfortunately passed away on Saturday morning. A Peoria native, Jauron used to coach the Bears from 1999 to 2003. During his time in Windy City, Jauron led the Bears to a 35-45 record. And also went on to coach the Bills for three and a half years. But couldn’t deliver a winning season, finishing with a 24-33 record. However, today, he tragically took his last breath shortly after getting diagnosed with cancer.

Dick Jauron, a Peoria native and the head coach of the #Bears from 1999 through 2003, has passed away. He was 74.

The NFL’s Coach of the Year in 2001, he also was a HC for the #Bills. Jauron played safety in the league and was a legend at Yale.
