“I Don’t Think LA Is a Good Place for Children”- Joe Rogan Reveals His Extreme Steps for 3 Daughters’ Safety

Joe Rogan has made a profession out of voicing his mind, and when it comes to his family, he doesn’t hold back.  Rogan, one of the most well-known voices in MMA and podcasting, has spent decades in Los Angeles, which is known for its entertainment industry, fast-paced lifestyle, and, in recent years, increased concerns about violence and homelessness. Despite the city’s attraction, the UFC commentator made a radical decision: he left the glamor and glamour of Los Angeles to reside in Texas in 2020. But why? Well, his decision was more than just a change of scenery; it was about the safety and well-being of his three girls.

On The Joe Rogan Experience #2290 with guest Michael Kosta, the UFC commentator stated that he had long been concerned about raising his daughters in Los Angeles. “I always wanted to get out of L.A.,” he admitted. “I don’t think L.A. is a good place for children. I don’t think it’s a good place for young people. I think it’s just filled with too many bizarre ambitions and creeps.” The podcaster credited comedian Ron White with inspiring his decision, as White had relocated to Texas prior to the pandemic and is now happy about its lifestyle.

After considering his options, the JRE host concluded that moving to Austin would provide a better environment for his children, away from the craziness of Los Angeles. Rogan’s three kids, Kayja Rose, Lola, and Rosy, were at the center of his decision. His eldest child, Kayja, was born in 1996 from his wife’s previous relationship and has made a name for herself in the music world. Meanwhile, Lola and Rosy, born in 2008 and 2010, continue to grow up under his watchful eye.

To protect his family from what he perceived as Los Angeles’ toxic society, Rogan relocated them to a $14 million mansion on Lake Austin, where they adopted a quieter, more grounded way of life. Despite leaving Hollywood’s entertainment capital, Joe Rogan has no regrets. While pursuing his career in podcasting and stand-up comedy, he frequently praises Texas for its laid-back atmosphere, strong sense of community, and higher overall quality of life. For him, the decision was simple: his family came first. But while he did manage to take his daughters away from LA as he revealed on the podcast, he still believes that they definitely aren’t out of danger due to the recent advancements in tech and trends.

Joe Rogan speaks against the recent trend and has his daughters hooked

While the JRE host was able to shield his girls from the actual dangers of Los Angeles, he soon recognized that the digital world posed an even greater threat. In an age where social media dominates social interactions, the UFC commentator has expressed concerns about the growing influence of platforms such as Snapchat, Instagram, and TikTok on young minds. He warned about this situation a year ago, saying, “My fear is that this is only gonna get greater.” Unfortunately, his prediction appears to be coming true, as his daughters have become deeply immersed in these digital trends even at home in Texas. On The Joe Rogan Experience #2286, Rogan voiced frustration with how social media, specifically Snapchat, had taken over his children’s way of communication.

While speaking with Antonio Brown, the UFC commentator noticed his guest using his phone and instantly asked, “You don’t use Snapchat, do you?” Brown denied it, but Joe Rogan admitted that his girls hardly text anymore, instead relying exclusively on Snapchat. “They’re in the middle of the movie theater or something…they’re like…make a weird face, send it to their friends. What are you doing? This is a weird way to communicate.” His concerns mirror a widespread trend among youngsters who choose short-lived, image-based bonds over regular chats, making their communication habits divided and reckless.

Beyond simple texting, Rogan highlighted an even more alarming feature: Snapchat’s Snap Map. He explained that the platform effectively transforms kids into “little surveillance experts” by allowing them to track each other’s real-time locations. “Kids are just all addicted to Snapchat… Another thing that’s weird…is they all have a Snap Map, so they know where they all are. They’re all like, ‘Oh, she’s with him. That fu——- bi—-. You see where all your friends are. Like you got a map of all friends…it’s weird, man.” Well, it looks like Joe Rogan is getting more and more frustrated with the latest trends, especially when he did so much to protect his three daughters. But what do you think? Is Joe Rogan’s reason behind getting so paranoid really valid? Let us know in the comments.
