Injured Tyreek Hill Promises Dolphins Comeback With a 1-Word Message on Friday

Tyreek Hill knows how to enter a scene and light it up. From X posts to TikTok videos, to IG, everywhere this guy drops content, it’s a sensation. First, it was all the trade rumors surrounding him. But the Dolphins didn’t trade him away, maybe because of his wrist injury or maybe because he never really wanted to go anywhere else. Then, the guy also dropped hints about a new QB role with the Dolphins, which turned its fair share of heads, too. The iconic WR catches headlines like they are touchdown passes from his QB. And after all the news circulating around him this offseason, he’s got some updates for us again.

Marriage troubles, a renewed father, youth football, speed camps, and even a cool vacation. Tyreek Hill’s offseason journey this year is full of ups and downs. But as far as his injury is concerned, there seem to be rays of sunshine peeping through. As a Dolphins insider reported recently, Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, had some positive news. Hill’s gone through a 2nd wrist surgery that meant “taking the pins out.” His agent also highlighted that “the recovery is going great – we expect him to be ready for the start of training camp.” And now, even the WR himself has teased a comeback.

Tyreek Hill took to his IG to share a story that has reignited hopes for all the Dolphins fans out there. He shared a picture of himself catching a pass in all Dolphins glory. And he had a very tiny message for his fans. One word, “soon.” But this one word was more than enough for fans to breathe a sigh of relief and look forward to the explosive speed of the Cheetah. But how soon is soon? Well, as Rosenhaus believes he’ll be ready for training camps, that means it could only be a few more days till we see Tyreek Hill back in action. The Dolphins’ OTAs will run from May 27th through June 5th, with a few gaps in between. So, will we get to see him on the 27th?

While Tyreek Hill’s update is an enormous relief for the Dolphins, there is one thing that’s still on everyone’s mind. Is this guy going to stay or what? Because even as recently as April 2025, he was dropping cryptic peace sign emojis on X and leaving fans to wonder what it all meant. But he finally seems to have put all of that behind him, shaken off the ‘false narratives’, and is ready to go all in with the Dolphins again.

Tyreek Hill to stay with the Dolphins?

Tyreek Hill is going big on his redemption arc. This isn’t the same guy who once said, “I’m out of here.” Even back in April when the trade rumors were going strong, Dolphins GM Chris Grier had noted on April 15th that, “He’s been working and doing all the things to show his teammates that this is where he wants to be – As I told you when we met with him after the season, he wanted to be here. There was no indication [otherwise]. In terms of when he’s in the building doing everything, he’s been great. Things happen with players.” Tyreek’s streak of redemption continued all the way to May.

Just recently, the new Dolphins receivers coach, Robert Prince, has also made the case for Tyreek Hill. Prince said, “Tyreek’s been great – If I text him, he texts me back. If I call him, he calls me back. He says I’m going to be here, he’s been here. And it’s been great. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with Tyreek, and he’s a great leader in the room.” So that’s that. It looks like the standout wide receiver is here to stay with the Dolphins for good now.

What remains to be seen now is how well he has recovered from his injury. How many of those classic Hill speed explosions will we get to see in the OTAs? And of course, how he will lead the Dolphins to victory as the new season comes around. The Tyreek Hill saga just got so much more interesting.
