“It’s Not Happening… Dana Hates Jake”- Conor McGregor Dealt With Ultimate Blow as KSI Reveals Inside Details

“I’m going to slap the head off the two of you and KSI” – this is what Conor McGregor said when he targeted KSI after his bout against Logan Paul failed to materialize. Needless to say, the hype around the fight began to rise pretty soon. But things began to fall apart not soon after. Weighing in on that, KSI has now made a bold claim with all the blame on Dana White.

During his recent appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, the famed MMA reporter asked KSI about the talks of him fighting ‘The Notorious’. The duo was even engaged in a verbal battle and their move to the ring wasn’t too far away. So what went wrong? Was there any way they could have figured things out and entertained the fighting community? Well, once again, the fingers pointed at White for approval. After all, McGregor still had 2 fights left in his contract. And White hoped for him to return in the fall of 2025.

The social media influencer replied, “Dana just said it’s not happening.” No doubt, KSI was all in to take on the former UFC double champion. On top of that, he claimed that he was better suited to go up against McGregor, as compared to Jake Paul’s chances. Again, it was all because of the UFC head honcho. He said, “I feel like I am more in line for it to happen as opposed to someone like Jake because Dana hates Jake.” KSI went on, “And understandably, I know why he’s an absolute c—. So, it is what it is. I think it’ll be a great fight between me and Conor McGregor, but we’re just gonna have to wait for Dana to, you know- Dana holds all the cards with that.”

While many wanted ‘Mystic Mac’ to lock horns with KSI, or even Logan Paul, Dana White stood in complete opposition to the matchup. However, that might have caused quite a bit of loss for the TKO Group. Well, let’s hear that from Conor McGregor.

Conor McGregor reveals how lucrative his fight with Logan Paul could have been

During a conversation with The Schmo back in January, ‘The Notorious’ pointed out that his fight against Paul could have been a massive business opportunity for the UFC’s parent company. Paul belonged to the WWE, while McGregor still had 2 fights in the UFC. And the matchup could have brought TKO Group to the realm of boxing while uniting WWE and UFC. However, the UFC wasn’t ready to talk.

He said, “You know, it is what it is. The UFC just isn’t into it. I had the offer; it was there on the table in writing. Both athletes will say, “He’s not a fighter,” but whatever. Both athletes are under the TKO banner—UFC and WWE—both rising up. You know, the stock price of TKO Holding Group is through the roof.”

Nevertheless, the return of ‘The Notorious’ would be the one that could raise the entropy of the entire fighting realm. The kind of star factor that the Irish mixed martial artist has, he can fill up the arena within moments. If we look at UFC 303, even though he was forced to pull out of the bout, McGregor ensured that the tickets were sold out soon after his fight against Michael Chandler was announced. Maybe that’s the reason why White doesn’t want him to fight elsewhere and focus on his comeback.

Do you think White should have let McGregor fight KSI or Logan Paul before returning to the UFC? Does the UFC head honcho have a bigger plan for the Irishman? Drop down to the debate section and keep the conversation flowing.
