J.T Miller Gets Honest About His Equation With Mika Zibanejad Amid Rangers’ Recent Loss

J.T. Miller’s New York Rangers couldn’t hit a hat-trick win today. After their victories over the Nashville Predators and the New York Islanders, the Rangers lost the game against Alex Ovechkin’s Washington Capitals. Ovechkin scored a goal in this game as well, marching ahead to break Gretzky’s all-time goals record. But the game ended in overtime. And with a 3-2 final score on the board, they lost the game. After the game, J.T. Miller was asked about his equation with teammate Mika Zibanejad, and he replied with confidence.

Miller said, “Just a predictability.” He further continued, “Not trying to reinvent the wheel. We just get it in, and when we get the puck in, we have a good check. We have enough skill to hurt the other team. So, definitely keep it simple. We play good D. Keep it simple through the neutral zone, and when you get in the zone, try to start off a four check and a cycle game.” Miller scored zero points in this game.
