Jalen Hurts’ Teammate Exposes Micah Parsons’ True Colors as Jerry Jones’ Son Confirmed Stance on Extension

Micah Parsons is in the center of a storm. He stirred the hornets’ nest by urging his owner Jerry Jones to get aggressive in the free agency and 2025 Draft. In the Cowboys‘ culture, no one tells the owner what to do. In fact, it’s the other way around. You let Jones take the decision and then follow the path he wants you to walk. There is some frustration building up inside the locker room. The 3-deacde SB drought is having a real-life influence on the players and the fans.

Other NFL players always have an eye on America’s Team. Jerry Jones is rich. Despite all the failures, he made them the world’s first $10 billion valuation sports franchise. For 9 straight years, they have been the most valued team. But whenever Jalen Hurts‘ teammates speak, we have to take notice. They are the champions. They are the giant killers, breaking the Chiefs‘ streak by winning Super Bowl LIX. So, when the Birds WR AJ Brown said on the February 23 episode of the Million Dollaz Worth Of Game, “I think Micah (Parsons) wants to be a Eagle,” we take it seriously!

But will it really happen? Jerry Jones’ son, Stephen Jones, shot down such rumors claiming they are ready and prepared to enter negotiations with the linebacker. So, it’s confirmed! They will be sitting at the negotiating table soon, trying to keep Micah Parsons in Dallas beyond his rookie contract and year-extension. Given Jerry Jones’ history of creating roadblocks out of thin air, will they close it in time? That’s the big question.

Stephen refused to give the exact timeline of the discussion. A few days back, he said, “I don’t know the exact timing of that, so I don’t want to get out over my skis there.” But he did add “Oh yes” about definitely sitting on the table.

Last year, the Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb refused to practice and play in the preseason games until he got a new contract just before the season. In 2025, the DE will make $24 million, from his 5th year option. However, the franchise has to balance their finances from the lucrative deals of Lamb and their QB Dak Prescott.

The times are tough. But Stephen Jones already hinted that they will restructure signal caller’s contract as they have done previously. The potential buyers are already looking at the developments.

Stay tuned. This story is developing.
