It started with Kylie asking a fan-submitted question to Jason, “What are your red and green flags (not Chiefs and Eagles) in relationships that you want your girls to know about?” Jason, without missing a beat, says, “Red flag for me is anybody that uses the term red flags… cringe or any of these other words, run for the hills.” Savage. But then Kylie rephrased the question a bit to make Jason seriously answer the question, “What is an alarming characteristic or behavior that if our girls said they were dating someone with that, you would be like, ‘Absolutely not’?”
And that’s when he dropped a meta red flag: “Anybody who doesn’t treat service people with respect and kindness… You can gauge more about who people are in how they treat people they have nothing to gain from.” It was a straightforward, realistic look at how the Kelces are raising their daughters to choose real human kindness over pretense.
But then came the laughter and skepticism when Jason asked Kylie if she would let their daughters date a football player. To which Kylie scoffed and took a pause before saying, “Yes, I’d be very skeptical.” And Jason honestly added, “I know a lot of great football players. However, Jason returned to the main point: “Hopefully both of us will show our daughters what good men and women are… Nothing is going to help if we’re being skeptical.
