Jerry Jones Receives Resounding Vote of Confidence From Micah Parsons After AJ Brown’s Warning for Eagles

Jerry Jones made two great decisions this offseason. One was Joe Milton‘s trade with the New England Patriots, and the other was George Pickens‘s trade. There is no doubt that the Cowboys‘ owner missed an opportunity to have a good player on his team. From Troy Aikman and Michael Irvin to the newer generation like Dak Prescott, Micah Parsons, and CeeDee Lamb, the Cowboys organization has produced greats. Likewise, they added one more beast to the locker room last week. It looks like the upcoming season is going to be great for the Cowboys, right? But former NFL QB and current ESPN analyst doesn’t think the same way.

Recently, Dan Orlovsky made a controversial statement in one of his videos. In that segment, the former NFL quarterback and current ESPN analyst explained why he believes the upcoming season will be a tough one for the Dallas Cowboys. Indeed, he questioned the team’s ability to keep up with modern NFL offenses, asking indirectly, “Are you big enough to handle modern-day offense in the NFL?”

In response, Cowboys star defender Micah Parsons took to social media. After watching the clip, he reposted the video and fired back, writing, “Not gonna lie mf not thinking about that run when you have a healthy Dak, Ceedee, and GP. My rookie year with Coop, we averaged 30 points a game with a fluid run game! We’ll be alright!” Clearly, with those final three words—“We’ll be alright”—Parsons sent a message not just to fans, but indirectly to the franchise as well.

And the message? He’s confident the Cowboys will bounce back strong this season. In essence, despite the criticism, Parsons believes the team is built to succeed.

The star linebacker has promised to prove that the upcoming season is not going to be the same as 2024. In 2024, they ended up with only an 8-9 win-loss record. It seemed like a curse; the head coach had a last season, then multiple defenders were injured, and then the franchise QB also and a season-ending injury. But according to the linebacker, who is also waiting for his contract extension, he promises that this is not going to repeat in 2025.

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia Eagles’ star wide receiver has warned his team about the Cowboys. When he was recently giving interviews, the Eagles’ star said that the Cowboys are going to be a problem for them this fall after the George Pickens trade.

Jerry Jones’ move scared AJ Brown to warn his franchise

After the George Pickens trade, the Cowboys now have one of the killer offensive squads. First of all, they already had star WR CeeDee Lamb at the receiving point. But the addition of Pickens scared AJ Brown. The Eagles’ wideout warned his franchise to worry about the Cowboys this season.

AJ said, “I like that, I ain’t gonna lie. We’re going to have to worry about them. For sure. I like the trade. Do like the trade. I like the competition, you know. I like George Pickens, I like CeeDee Lamb, and their collab.” Moreover, he added, “It’s going to be exciting to watch because all that does is bring the best out of us. So, if we know how they’re coming, we are going to have to step it up.” The Cowboys have CeeDee, Pickens, when Dak Prescott is also playing like he hasn’t had any injury. That’s what makes AJ think and worry about Jerry Jones’ franchise.

The Cowboys have a great season ahead in terms of everything. They got the new head coach this offseason. As we already mentioned, they have one of the best offensive and defensive squads. Along with that, they also got prime time games, for example season kickoff game against AJ’s Eagles. Let’s see how the Cowboys are gonna make a great result out of everything. Do you think this is the year the Cowboys can snap their 30-year Super Bowl drought?
