Jimmy Butler Finally Breaks Silence on Ugly Pat Riley Feud As He Clears the Air on Suns Trade Rumors

The Great Jimmy Butler trade drama is over. Now, it’s only up and onwards for Big Face Butler. But the media doesn’t seem to let him go easily. Well, we all know what happened over the last few weeks in Vice City and things spiraled out after the 15-year-old said that he wasn’t having “fun”, playing for the Heat. Following that controversial statement, the star forward went through multiple suspensions and most importantly, struggled to land a team, tangled up in a high-octane trade drama.

But it all had to end at some point and it did. Butler got what he wished for, a trade out of the Heat, and also along with that he got an upgrade. He declined the $52 million player option with the Miami side and signed a two-year contract for $112 million with the Warriors. Initially, trade reports suggested that Butler had ended negotiation with the Dubs, saying that he wasn’t interested in an extension. But the desperation got the better of both parties.

Here we’re now, Jimmy Butler’s first presser as a Dubs star. The reporters may so much to ask about the veteran’s future with the Dubs but there’s a lot to be answered about the franchise that he carried to NBA Finals twice in four years. “I don’t have anything to say. I’m good. Everything is behind me,” said Butler, cheekily dodging all the controversial questions.

At one point, he had to say something and he said, “I am straight. I don’t got too many bad things to say about them. They gave me opportunity. I have so much respect for that organization, for the people who are running the organization, my former teammates. I always wish them the best….I’m very grateful for the relationships I’ve built and hope to keep for a lifetime.” Before he could finish his statement, a reporter pounced and asked when he decided to leave the Heat then.

Jimmy Butler on the Heat:

“I have a lot of love for a lot of people over there.

I just want them to know I’m very grateful for the relationships I’ve built and hope to keep for a lifetime.”pic.twitter.com/izKPJEmwjO

The star paused for a bit and said, “That’s a good question actually… I don’t know maybe There was a lot of talking back and forth and sooner or later the talking has to stop.” Even after this, the reporters didn’t take the hint. They wanted to know more about the Phoenix Suns drama.

This is a developing story!
