The Warriors are on a two-game losing streak. On top of it, the team suffered an embarrassing clean sweep of 3-0 against the Warriors last night. Normally, Bay Area fans should be depressed about the team’s state and worry whether the team won’t make it to playoffs. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case this time. In fact, the Dub Nation is more confident than they were in the last few years. It’s the Jimmy Butler effect. But the question is, how soon will he join the team?
“I would like to say that I am a winner. I haven’t won ‘it’ but I would like to call myself a winner. I do want to win ‘it’,” said the Big Face Jimmy at the introductory press meet. Notably, ‘it’ here means the championship. Yeah, the man who took the Heat to two Finals in four years declared that he wanted to win a championship. He couldn’t have asked for a better place than the Warriors which has two vets with four rings.
Anyway, looking at Jimmy Butler’s words, it looks like he wants to make immediate. So, the star’s debut isn’t far away. Yes, that’s right. ESPN’s Shams Charania said, “Jimmy Butler will make his Warriors debut Saturday in Chicago.” Moreover, it’s not going just another debut game in his career. We all know the rough time that Butler went through in the last few weeks, facing suspension multiple when he tried to force a trade out of the Heat. Fittingly, he found an emotional date to release all his pressure.
“His debut on Saturday is going to have a lot of meetings. It’s going to be against his former team (Bulls) and his first team. And it’s also on the same day that his father passed away a year ago,” said Charania, making it a stirring event for Butler.
This is a developing story!
