Arkansas, in a miraculous turn of events, managed to drag themselves out from six feet under in the NCAA Tournament. Even though injuries had taken out Boogie Fland and Adou Thiero, the Hogs fought valiantly and ended up making the Sweet Sixteen. Razorbacks fans cannot wait to run it back, but there’s one problem: Boogie Fland.
The six-foot-two point guard has entered the transfer portal with a ‘DO NOT CONTACT’ tag! This came as an absolute shock to Hogs fans, but he quickly clarified his stance as being ready for the NBA draft and only entering the transfer portal to keep his options open.
Not long after this announcement, John Calipari addressed the situation on X. The legendary coach believes that Fland can make it in the big leagues, and has what it takes to thrive.
Been talking with Boogie the last few days. I fully expect that he is going to be a first round draft pick. I’ve coached players with his talent and know how they are doing in the NBA, he has “IT”. He also knows I will always be here for him.
