Justin Thomas Felt ‘Extremely Uncomfortable’ Filming With Adam Sandler Due to a ‘Stupid’ Reason

Two completely different worlds are keeping Justin Thomas busy. One has to do with golf, with the golfer seeing all kinds of ups and downs with his The PLAYERS Championship moderate finish (T33) and his Atlanta Driver GC win in the second TGL playoff. But hey, what’s the other thing? It’s the media industry. Or, more specifically, Hollywood. How?

In case you somehow missed it, the 31-year-old golf star will be one of the featured professional golfers in the upcoming Happy Gilmore 2 film. Not only that, being a fan of the first film, the golfer is super excited to be working alongside Adam Sandler, a man he says he quotes often. So, what was it like for him to be working in a completely different space? “Extremely uncomfortable,” in his words. But hey, before we jump there, let’s take a look at what’s it been like for him.

Justin Thomas says he had to adjust to the new setting, even though he had already performed under the SoFi cameras. Undoubtedly, two different spaces. Talking about it, the golfer said the experience was very cool. But that doesn’t mean he didn’t get too excited next to Sandler. And that was a problem. “I definitely realized pretty quickly how often I quote Adam Sandler movies in my everyday life.” So, hold up. So, what’s the Justin Thomas issue? “Because when you’re around the person you naturally don’t want to do that to not make yourself kind of look stupid. But it was borderline very excessive, I started to realize, on my end, so it was almost a reality check.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Justin Thomas has brought Sandler into the conversation.

This is a developing story…
