Kevin Hart’s Mookie Betts ‘Revenge’ Plot Gets Hilariously Crushed by Kiké Hernández’s Epic Clap Back

If Kevin Hart is the host, things are expected to go chilly and unfiltered. To top it off, if Kike Hernández is the guest, well then, you better brace yourself for a full-blown laugh riot. Recently, these two collaborated for a hilarious episode of ‘Who’s funnier in the ice bath?’ From full-on roast sessions to the dugout memories, the two-time World Series champion showed his most unfiltered side.

But the real showstopper came later in the episode. It was when Hart revealed his cheeky revenge trap for Kike’s teammate Mookie Betts. And little did he know, Kike would crush his plan effortlessly with a reality check. Both Ks took the plunge as they stepped into the icy cold tub. And without much ado, Hart kicked the conversation off with a wholesome exchange with Kike, as he addressed his “two-time world series championship win.”

Soon enough, Hart, being his unapologetic self, revealed what he would do if he were a player. He said, “If I was a player, I would take a whoopie cushion with me to games and put them under players’ seats to make fart noise.” Yes, that’s very classic Hart! Now here’s where it all got a lot more interesting.

Hart told Kike, “Mookie Betts is a good friend of mine. We go around a little bit at competitions.” But to Hart’s surprise, Kike shot back, “Pickleball games are not much of a competition, though.”

Hart was taken aback by the fact that Kike already knew about the ‘pickleball’ games between him and Betts.  He curiously asked Kike, “Who told you the story? Did Mookie tell it? With a smirk, Kike stated, “I met a lot of people today.”

Hart, however, wanted to give Kike a bit of a “background.” He further said, “Mookie claims to be one of the best athletes in the world. He invited me to his house to play. He brought me to an environment that wasn’t conducive for my style of play.”

The renowned comedian then revealed his master plan for Betts, who has won 4 of these pickleball games against him. “I’ve asked him to come to my house, which he still hasn’t,” he said.

Hart has a ‘revenge’ plot planned for Betts and it has all to do with the whoopie cushions. “So as he sits down in my house…” he continued. But holding it down for Betts, Kike instantly crushed Hart’s plot, saying, “If you’re going to bring a whoopie cushion, he’s going to whoopie your a**!” Yes, the mic drop moment. Now, unless Hart wants that to happen, he might refrain from plotting such plans for Betts.

But before they started talking about Betts, Hart and Hernandez had an interesting, little conversation at the beginning of the episode. And it was about the latter’s alternative career plan.

Kike Hernandez’s plan-B if baseball hadn’t worked out

During his conversation with Hart, Kike Hernandez recalled the first time he stepped onto the field – the Dodger stadium, a decade ago in 2015. The outfielder of the Los Angeles Dodgers embraces the love he gets from MLB fans now. “The love is undeniable,” he said.

But can you picture Hernández not in his outfield role and doing something totally different? He revealed his alternative option if, in any scenario, he wouldn’t have made it to the major leagues. He opened up about it when he discussed his nickname.

Turns out, even after 9 years of being in Los Angeles, people still call him ‘Kiki’ instead of ‘Kikè.’ Hart asked him if this thing bothers him. And he said, “yes, sometimes it does.”

However, he gave us a sneak peek of what his life would have been if it weren’t for baseball. Perhaps he was joking here as he said, “When I’m a stripper, I go by Kiki.”

So, it was his Plan B. But why not anything else?

Hear it from the man himself. He confessed, “I was a terrible student. So, I was probably gonna go to Vegas.” Well, that’s a sigh of relief for Dodgers’ nation that he didn’t go for his Plan B. Because, Baseball worked out pretty well for him, right?
