Brunson has already 30 on Detroit, meanwhile, Josh Hart is eyeing another double-double with 11 points and 8 rebounds after the three quarters. But the update about the Motor City star is not that positive.

Isaiah Stewart, who has been the number two option behind Jalen Duren, missed his 5th straight game. The apparent knee issues continue to nag the center. The 23-year-0ld leads the team in terms of blocks per game during the regular season. In the series opener, he would feature only for 19 minutes. About his recovery, Ready added, “I spoke with him this morning. He is coming along, he’s doing more things on the court, nothing contact yet, he’s just going through defensive sets and things he would be doing on the offensive end.”

Speaking about the offensive, the severity of the game was not lost on the coaches. The TNT reporter said that JB Bickerstaff and Tom Thibodeau both echoed a similar sentiment on how to win the game. “Both coaches, moments ago, told us that it comes down to that rebounding, turnovers, trying to control the boards.
