At 6-foot-1, Booker came to Texas as a freshman small forward but was thrown into a bigger role when Rori Harmon suffered a season-ending injury. She took over as point guard, running the offense and growing into a leader faster than anyone expected.

And then, as March Madness 2025 approached, Booker added yet another brand to her résumé: C4 Energy. She was featured in their ‘Bracket Breakers’ campaign alongside Auburn’s Johni Broome, Alabama’s Mark Sears, and UCLA’s Lauren Betts. Last year, we got blown out in the final four. This year, it’s right here. I’ve been waiting for this moment to get a gold ball,” Booker said.
And that gold ball wasn’t her only medal. In 2021, she made the USA U16 Women’s National Team. She won gold at the FIBA Americas Championship in Mexico, averaging 6.4 points, 1 rebound, and 2.6 assists in five games.
The next summer, she won another gold with the U17 team in Hungary. This time, she averaged 5.6 points, 4 rebounds, and 2.3 assists over seven games.
In 2023, she added a third gold medal at the U19 World Cup in Madrid. Her stats rose to 7.2 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 assist per game.

She started as a small forward but soon shifted to point guard. As a freshman, she played 37 games and averaged 20.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 5.2 assists. She shot 48% from the field and 91.6% at the line. Her play earned her Big 12 Freshman of the Year.
Then, in March 2024, history was made. Booker became the first-ever freshman to win Big 12 Player of the Year. She scored 20+ points in 14 games and had double figures in 31. By season’s end, she racked up 611 points—the fourth-most by a freshman in Texas history.
