“I think again all of that is going to be big or much bigger in the summer,” Stock added. “I think that goes without saying, but it’s going to be very interesting to hear how things go in the summer with Carson. Getting to know the guys kind of speeds up that process as much as possible.” His receivers are studying his film, eager to learn the tendencies before their season opener against Notre Dame.

His potential coupled with his humility makes him an endearing player, especially to Pollack. “I don’t know that I’ve met a more humble kid, he is an easy kid to cheer for,” he added. If Stockton steps up, Georgia could remain dominant. But if Beck thrives in Miami, the Canes might have their best shot at a title in years.
