You want offseason entertainment? The Cowboys. You want to successfully ‘hate-watch’ a team’s game? The America’s Team is your best chance. Thanks to Jerry Jones for making the Big D into an actual circus, where your best pass-rusher is still looking for answers about his future on social media… No wonder Micah Parsons’ got the majority’s support.
With no deal in place, the dreaded trade speculation has already crept in. PFF even labeled Parsons as Dallas’ “best trade asset” heading into the 2025 NFL Draft. We’ve seen this game before—just ask CeeDee Lamb, who played hardball just to get paid. So when Parsons took to social media with a scathing message about players getting “violated” by teams due to bad representation, fans took notice.
“Some of these agents don’t have the best interest for y’all man!! Wake up!!” Parsons wrote on X. “It’s sad seeing some of these players get violated by teams because of lack of decency and effort by their agents!!” That’s not just a stray tweet. He has given a warning shot. Parsons made it clear that he trusts his agent, David Mulugheta, but not all players are as lucky.
What does this mean for Dallas? Nothing good. If Parsons is already feeling some type of way about how the teams are treating the players in negotiations, don’t expect him to settle for a “team-friendly” deal. So, the Cowboys front office has a clear choice: pay up now or risk watching another star walk away. And judging by Parsons’ tone, they can’t get away with lowballing him.
