“Mike Will Come Alive” – Jake Paul Faces Rejection as MMA Legend Gives Mike Perry the Edge in ‘Dirty Boxing’

Calling it MMA might not be entirely accurate, but it’s the closest way to describe what the Dirty Boxing Championship brings to the table. This brand-new promotion has burst onto the scene, making headlines despite its debut event never being officially streamed online. Instead, all fans have to go on about are scattered clips—and one, in particular, stands out: a vicious, highlight-reel knockout that has already set the tone for what this league is all about. The league started by UFC veteran and BKFC star Mike Perry, is already making waves with some outstanding match-ups already lined up.

However, there’s one fight that fans definitely want to see under this banner is the clash between Jake Paul and Mike Perry. The rivalry between the two began last year in July when they entered a boxing ring. ‘Platinum’ was roped in at the last moment after the legendary Mike Tyson pulled out of his clash at the last moment. Paul dropped the bare-knuckle brawler three times and won the fight by TKO in the sixth round.

However, things will be very different if they enter into a fight under the DBX banner feels former UFC champion Rashad Evans. Although Paul has pretty good striking he is not used to this style which will make the difference, feels the 45-year-old former UFC champion.

Overdogs podcast shared the clip of their conversation on their Instagram Page. During the conversation, he said, “That’s where Mike is more comfortable. But more importantly like, there are elements in that style that Jake just hasn’t been able to he is just very different. But I feel like in a situation like that, Mike will come alive a lot sooner, just because of the fact that he’s got that kind of conditioning in the bag. You know what I am saying? He probably can jump off and do a good 10 rounds like that just because of the fact that he’s always consistently training in that manner. You know so I think that Mike will smash him.”

This weekend, the Dirty Boxing Championship is set to make its official return with DBX 1 in Miami. The highly anticipated event will feature a stacked card of 13 fights. Headlining the night is a heavyweight showdown between the legendary Yoel Romero and rising contender Rashad Hylton, promising an explosive main event. A TMZ report suggests that Jon Jones (co-owner) will be present at the event alongside Paige VanZant and Nicky Jam. The 37-year-old has started a new venture partnering alongside Perry at the Dirty Boxing Promotion. But what does ‘The Platinum’ feel about his new partnership? Let us find out about it below.

Mike Perry has high hopes for his new promotion after partnering with ‘Bones’

UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones is stepping into a new phase of his career. However, this time not inside the Octagon, but in the business world. While fans eagerly anticipate his return for a heavyweight title unification bout, ‘Bones’ is making power moves outside of fighting. Following a path similar to UFC superstar Conor McGregor, Jones is now looking to try new things at the twilight of his career.

Only time will tell whether he will be able to carry forward his MMA success in his business world or not. However, ‘Bones’ is not regretting his decision at all. “I was hooked from the first show, and I believe this is going to be a powerhouse in combat sports. I’m proud to attach my name to it,” these were the exact words of the 37-year-old after he took the responsibility of being a co-owner.

Mike Perry is nothing but delighted with ‘Bones’ coming forward and associating with the league. This new venture was sparked by Mike Perry’s impressive run in BKFC and his partnership with Jon Jones’ longtime management team, headed by Malki and Abe Kawa. Dirty Boxing Promotion made its official debut in November with an exclusive boxing showcase in Miami, featuring former UFC title challenger Yoel Romero.

‘The Platinum’ took time to show his appreciation towards the heavyweight champion sharing his excitement on Dirty Boxing’s social media. He wrote, “Business is booming.” What do you feel about the emergence of the Dirty Boxing Promotion? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
