MLB All-Star Voting Heats Up as Francisco Lindor’s Wife Katia Issues Big Plea to Mets Fans

The MLB All-Star voting race is heating up! And for Francisco Lindor, things are finally falling into place. The New York Mets shortstop is currently leading all National League shortstops in votes. He has over 1.64 million votes and counting, and he is on track to get something he never did before as a Met—an All-Star game start.

Ever since he arrived with the New York Mets in 2021, he has been a steady force. A four-time All-Star during his days in Cleveland, he never got that starting nod while wearing orange and blue. However, this season, there is a change in the air.

This season, Lindor’s numbers are impossible to ignore—16 home runs, 13 stolen bases, and a 133 OPS+. He has been electric! And well, he has support and votes from his fans, but his biggest cheerleader is none other than his wife and family.

On Instagram, for example, Lindor’s wife, Katia, posted a heartfelt reminder. “Keep those votes coming! You can vote 5x a day until the 26th of this month. Let’s support our own .” Not something flashy and long or emotional, just Katia being herself—a rock for her husband. Through thick and thin, she has been there for Lindor. She is often spotted in the stands with their daughters, Kalina Zoé and Amapola Chloé-all of them cheering on Lindor.
