MLB Fans Freak Out as the Simpsons Predicts Ugly Ketel Marte Incident: “And It’s Even Arizona”

The D-backs-White Sox game this June brought forth something heartbreaking. One that no one can deal with a straight face: A fan targeting Ketel Marte’s late mother. But, shockingly, this very thing, a personal tragedy becoming stadium fodder, seems to have been predicted, not by an insider or analyst but by The Simpsons.

That night at Guaranteed Rate Field, Ketel Marte hit a solo home run in the first inning. And suddenly, things changed. Then, during the seventh inning, a fan yelled a derogatory remark aimed at Marte’s mom. Clearly in shock and despair, he straightened, blinked back tears, and bent his head as if the cheers had turned sour. He cried on the field while Lovullo and teammates held him. Soon, MLB banned the fan from every ballpark for an indefinite period.

And now, another unsettling detail has come to light: The Simpsons forecast. BatFlipCenter shared an Instagram post featuring Springfield that resembled the brutal incident thrown at Ketel Marte. The similarities were too close for comfort. The caption read, “How do they do it every time…” And when fans saw it, there came a collective call to ‘study’ the 80s sitcom. The clip had the players wearing Arizona’s jersey, with two fans shouting from the stands. It was like a replay!

It’s not a secret that The Simpsons are infamous for their crazy predictions, from the Titanic Sub to COVID-19, and whatnot! They even got the baseball drama right – be it the 1992 sideburn issue in “Homer at the Bat” to more current parodies of Shohei Ohtani’s interpreter problem in “Abe League of Their Moe.” And Ketel Marte’s incident is the new glare from their supposed crystal ball.

Well, this occurrence with Ketel Marte is more than just drama on the field. A harsh reminder that personal attacks, especially ones concerning someone’s suffering, are not part of the game. And that’s exactly what Geraldo Perdomo echoed: We can’t continue to do that here in MLB.” Manager Lovullo was furious, too, when he called it a “terrible moment.”

Meanwhile, after this Simpsons post, the internet is going crazy to find the truth…

Fan reactions: The Simpsons predicts, baseball recoils

Instagram is filled with responses, with The Simpsons’ supposed prophecy getting the most attention. It carried the exact scenario, which shocked the fans. One comment read, “And it’s even Arizona.” The emoji of shock tells it all. It seems unlikely that a random Simpsons sketch will happen to be set in Arizona. Well, it might be cosmic, smart writing, or just a coincidence. But, guess that’s what The Simpsons is all about.

It’s the AI world, and everything needed to be cross-checked. “Half this Simpsons stuff is AI. I never find the scenes.” The Simpsons is known for its odd “predictions.” But this comment raises a larger question: Can we trust online content? The clip’s authenticity is uncertain. It’s an online myth until someone timestamps that episode and finds a similar line! Are you on it? Wait…

It looks like it wasn’t an AI-generated clip after all. “Season 36 Episode 15: April 27th, 2025, Arizona vs. Chicago: June 24th, 2025.” There, we have it! The Simpsons usually don’t air at the same time as MLB games. So if an episode aired on April 27 with that game or dialogue, that’s really strange. Do we dare to hit that play button!

Some showed their support in their truest sense, ignoring conspiracy theories. “Blessings and Prayers to Ketel Marte and his family.” A concerned response. Not everything you see online is skeptical; it may also be kind. And that’s what humanity calls for…

A valid concern: “I hope that’s not where they got the idea.” What if the episode was aired, and that fan saw it? And did it intentionally? We cannot entirely deny that, right?

So many layers with a possibility of everything. Do you have any takes on The Simpsons theory? Share your thoughts with us…
