“My Anger’s Gone”: Celebrity Designer Forgives La La Anthony Hinting at Massive LaLa Wonderland Donation

What happens when two good people meet by chance? They start lifelong camaraderie. This is how the friendship between Nadeem Waheed and La La Anthony bloomed. One is a top designer and the other a seasoned actress. But as the saying goes, birds of a feather flock together. Just as Nadeem believes in the art of giving back to the community so does La La.

Daniel’s Leather’s clients include hip-hop icons like Nas, Cardi B, DJ Khaled and NFL star Clyde. Edwards-Helaire. Not only does the brand not compromise on the quality but their exquisite styles are catered to each person’s personal tastes. But what makes the luxury brand stand out isn’t just their A-list celebrity clients and work ethic. It’s their philanthropy. The founder, Nadeem has always been at the forefront of charities and donation campaigns. Among the many, one notable one among the NBA fans is the collaboration with the LeBron James Family Foundation where he donated 600 coats to students in Akron, Ohio. And all these values align with La La Anthony’s. And the outcome? It’s the obvious partnership every year for Lala’s Wonderland charity project. Needless to say, they shared a very special bond where Nadeem can’t ever be angry at La La.

Recently, after wrapping up her filming, the BMF actress went to catch up with her friend, Nadeem Waheed. However, Nadeem was sulking. And how do we know this? Of course, from Daniel’s Leather’s official Instagram post. While complaining, he said to La La, “I can’t even be mad at her, that’s my problem. You missed my show, you missed my other show.” Then, Nadeem added, “This is the problem that when I see her, all my anger’s gone. You take advantage of that, y’know that.” La La adores and appreciates how Nadeem is such a kind-hearted soul who’s always ready to help others. To this, Nadeem jokingly answered, “That’s her way of saying in the next LaLa Wonderland, I’m donating 200 coats.” Is that a hint for the next edition of the initiative?

In the past three years, Daniel’s Leather has continuously without fail to Lala’s Wonderland project. Guess how many? It’s 200 coats per year. Don’t you think it reflects his statement of ‘providing a basic necessity that can bring comfort and dignity in the face of hardship’? Speaking of the charity initiative, La La Anthony has always managed to hold the event every single year.

La La Anthony’s journey of making the world a better place

The ‘Think Like a Man’ actress is not only known for her charisma on screen but also for her altruism. Her charity initiative ‘Lala’s Wonderland’ is organized during the winter festive season. She cites her reason as making it an unforgettable night and spreading joy to underprivileged children. Herein, she arranges music performances, dance competitions, photo booths, gift giveaways, and a holiday dinner.

The ex-wife of the former NBA star hosted her 7th annual Winter Wonderland Charity event at the Gauchos Gym in Mott Haven. And the main sponsor was the same as the last edition? Do you remember Delsym? Yes, the brand known for its 12-hour cough relief medicine.  She explained her reason for the second time collaboration, “It’s about family. It’s about togetherness. It’s about comfort, which I think are all the things that Delsym believes in and stands for. So when the opportunity presented itself, I’m like, we have to do this.

To add to its significance, the place happens to be linked with her beloved son, Kiyan Anthony. She recounted, “It’s at the Gauchos Gym, which means a lot to me because that’s the gym my son first started playing basketball at and really started learning the fundamentals of basketball.” Kiyan Anthony has recently pledged his allegiance with the Syracuse University, following the footsteps of his NBA legend father Carmelo Anthony.
