“My Body Was F—ed Up for 3 Days” – Dana White Reveals Shocking Aftermath of Doing Tom Brady Roast on Netflix

‘The Roast of Tom Brady’ definitely gave people plenty to talk about long after it aired on Netflix. And not all of it was positive! Some of the jokes got a little too personal, and the NFL legend has since vowed never to do something like that again. Interestingly, UFC CEO Dana White, who also took part in roasting Brady and found himself on the receiving end of a few burns as well, has no plans to return to the roast stage either. Turns out, the aftermath of that comedy show took a real toll on his body, and he’s steering clear for good.

Well, it’s not like White doesn’t like comedy shows until he agreed to participate in the case of Tom Brady. During a conversation with Ex-WWE performer and executive Stephanie McMahon on her show, ‘What’s Your Story’, he claimed to have been apprehensive about the idea of turning down the 7-time NFL champion. They’re pretty good friends, and Brady has also attended multiple UFC events. So the Bossman kind of returned the favor, as it was a one-time thing only. However, in the aftermath of that event, White claimed to have an issue physically.

While the head honcho didn’t exactly mention what really happened that triggered an issue with his health for almost half a week, McMahon insinuated that it could have been the muscle tension. “How am I going to say no to Tom Brady? So, I did it. You know, I said yes. Holy s–t! I’m not exaggerating to you, when we got done and I left, my body was f—ed up for three days,” Dana White told Stephanie McMahon, who responded by asking, “Because you’re so tense?”

Well, White claimed to have no idea what happened to his body during those three days. But one thing’s for sure. The 55-year-old has learned that comedy shows and he just don’t fit well together.“There was something f—ing wrong with me, physically after that. You’ll never ever [see me attending comedy shows]. I don’t who it is. You’ll never see me do it again,” the UFC CEO added.

White’s health issues are pretty well-documented. He was once told by a doctor that he had only had 10.4 years to live. Moreover, he weighed over 300lbs and was laced with high cholesterol and the risk of diabetes. But that grim prognosis would lead him to make a drastic physical transformation, thanks to Gary Brecka’s 10X Health Systems. This program helped the UFC CEO live better. And in his own words, he now feels “like I’m 25 years old again.”

Coming back to the person on whom the whole roast was based, Tom Brady, he has a vastly different reason from that of White for rejecting another roast show. Just like we said, it was personal because it rubbed his family the wrong way. Here’s what the former Patriots and Buccaneers legend had to say!

The reason why Tom Brady did not like his roast

Tom Brady’s dislike for some of the jokes was pretty evident during the show when he shut down Jeff Ross and told him, “Don’t say that s—t again.” The comedian had actually brought up the legal woes of the CEO of the New England Patriots, Robert Kraft, which Brady didn’t take too kindly. But that’s not it, the former NFL player also claimed that the roast “affected” his children in a negative manner.

“I loved when the jokes were about me. I thought they were so fun. I didn’t like the way it affected my kids,” Tom Brady revealed on ‘The Pivot’ podcast. “So it’s the hardest part. The bittersweet aspect of when you do something that you think is one way and all of a sudden you realize ‘I wouldn’t do that again’ because of the way it affected, actually, the people I care about the most in the world.”

It seems the Roast of Tom Brady was a regretful night for many people involved with the show. Just like Dana White and the NFL legend! What do you think about the Netflix special? Drop your comments below.
