Nate Diaz Buried With Several Requests as Hong Kong Post Has UFC’s Asian Fans Hyped Up for Eventual Return

“I want to get out of the UFC for a minute and show all these UFC fighters how to take over and own up another sport.” This is what Nate Diaz said as he bid farewell to the sport of MMA in a pursuit of taking over a fanbase in another combat sports, as he chose boxing. However, his boxing stint wasn’t very long, as he just competed in two bouts as a boxer.

Since then, Diaz has only hinted at a return with no announcements to show for it. Stating he still has a UFC title run left in him, he once stated, “I’m going to go out there and take over another profession and become the best at that. Show everybody I’m the best at that. Then I’m going to be right back here to get a UFC title.”

Yet, ‘The Stockton Slugger’ remains a unique figure in the eyes of his fans. And let us tell you, Diaz still has a long list of admirers. Even if he is inactive in the fight game, his ventures outside of it have garnered quite the attention. Recently, ‘The Realest’ was involved in the Russian MMA reality show ‘ALF Reality’, serving as a coach opposite Jon Jones. However, Diaz exited the show after an altercation with Russian fighter Zalimkhan Yusupov, who allegedly attempted to choke him. Diaz retaliated, and the incident led to his departure from the show and return to the U.S.

Following this, Nate Diaz casually posted a photo of himself in Hong Kong this week, looking characteristically unfazed as he can be seen touring through the city alongside his group. Diaz has a huge fanbase in Asia, and the fighter’s visit to Hong Kong made fans from various countries to invite the fighter to their nation.

Posting a whole bunch of pictures of himself with his group touring through Hong Kong, Diaz wrote: “Shoutout to my boys. NDA Hong Kong Let’s goooo.” The American fighter shared the glimpses of his Hong Kong visit.
