No Paul Skenes in Sight, Olivia Dunne Confirms Who She Will Be Meeting at Kentucky Derby

It was just two weeks ago when Olivia Dunne made the gymnastics community emotional by announcing her retirement from the sport. It wasn’t the end the fans wanted to see, but the moment was bound to come as Olivia’s team faced a heartbreaking defeat in the semifinal of the National Gymnastics Championships, and it was her last year in her collegiate career. But hold on. Olivia had appeared in the Kentucky Oaks, and she had a special responsibility to play there. But here comes a surprise.

On May 2, Olivia Dunne showed up in the opening act for the 151st Run for the Roses on May 3. She had the responsibility to give the “Riders Up!” command for the 2025 Kentucky Oaks, the premier race for three-year-old fillies. A special honor for Livvy! But her boyfriend, Paul Skenes, wasn’t in sight. Later in her conversation with Access Hollywood’s digital guest correspondent Lauren Herbert, Livvy said, “I’m just excited to see all my friends. I know that Xandra will be here, she’s DJing later, and we both did Sports Illustrated together last year, and we’re doing it together this year as well, so I’m excited to see her.”

The story is developing…
