3 words. ‘Tyreek could never.’ That’s all it took for Noah Lyles to reignite the fury once again. After all that back and forth in 2024, the 100m Olympic champion dragged his beef with Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Hill in 2025 at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix. Only this time, he intends to finish it for good. Yes, the latest news on the block is that the sprint showdown is on. But, before the two had a little war of words (as usual), Noah Lyles seriously clapped back at the NFL-er.
One of the world’s fastest men had to have the last word when the sprint battle’s distance was in question, right? After all, all through 2024, this was what the main fuss was about—how much would be the distance they would run for? Also, will it be in yards or meters? After both Noah Lyles and Tyreek Hill did not come to terms over this previously, Hill now claimed that Lyles refused a 40m sprint because “He [Noah] already knew he was gonna lose that off the jump.”
But Noah Lyles isn’t going soft on his words this time. As the two spoke to PEOPLE exclusively, the sprinter clapped back at Hill’s claims, saying, “I did that not to embarrass you.” Wait, he wasn’t done yet. “I mean if it was 100-meters, it’d be a blowout, you know, we gotta meet in the middle.” Noah Lyles boldly claims it was only to have a fair competition with Hill that he turned down the 40m proposition.
