Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky aren’t just looking for talent—they’re searching for the missing piece. A playmaker who can orchestrate an offense, create opportunities, and elevate the team to championship contention. The Sky need a floor general, and with draft projections shifting, the battle to land her is heating up. Once expected to go No. 4, her stock has skyrocketed to No. 2, putting Chicago’s No. 3 pick in jeopardy of missing out. Can they make the move? Will the dominoes fall in their favor? And what does the star player at the center of it all think about Reese’s open admiration?
According to a recent post on X by Angel Report, titled “Olivia Miles on Angel Reese,” a reporter asked the Notre Dame guard about Reese’s admiration. “And I know Angel Reese out there,” the reporter began. “She’s also a big Olivia Miles fan. What makes her a monster?”
Miles, chuckling, responded: “No, you know, she’s just a great player, you know, gives it all on the court and, um, a great teammate. She just, you know, hustles on every play. So I love watching her play.”

It’s no surprise that Reese has been vocal about wanting to play alongside Miles. On a recent episode of her podcast, Unapologetically Angel, where she was joined by WNBA legend Lisa Leslie, the conversation quickly turned to the 2025 draft class. “LA [meant to say Seattle Storm] is gonna be interesting with picks too, because Olivia Miles,” Leslie noted. But before she could finish, Reese jumped in: “We’re trying to get her.”
