“It looks prettier than mine,” Stephen Curry once said about Azzi Fudd’s jumper and when the man who redefined the three-point shot says that, it means something. We know that, long before her college stardom, Fudd had already caught Curry’s eye, beating out top names to win his SC30 Select Camp’s three-point contest not once, but twice. That moment was more than just bragging rights, it was the beginning of a special bond. Now, in a full-circle turn, Paige Bueckers’ ladylove Fudd is the one inspiring the next generation, hosting her own youth camp and passing down the very lessons that shaped her.
This offseason, Fudd’s name has been all over the headlines. First, because of those long-swirling relationship rumors with former teammate Bueckers, which finally got confirmed. And now, she’s back in the spotlight, but this time, for all the right reasons and all her own doing.
Over the weekend, Fudd hosted her annual youth basketball camp in Washington D.C., held from July 26 to July 27 at St. John’s College High School. Open to boys and girls between the ages of 7–18, the two-day camp was priced at $200 and promised skill-building, fun, and plenty of one-on-one time with one of college basketball’s most beloved stars.
Even before the camp tipped off, the excitement was real. Fudd took to X to hype it up, sharing her anticipation and encouraging fans to support this year’s chosen charity: LoveAbby.org. “The 9th annual Azzi Fudd Basketball Camp starts tomorrow!!!” she wrote. “Super excited to see my returning campers, new campers, and to find out who traveled the furthest to attend camp! This will be my biggest camp ever…this year we are supporting the LoveAbby.org.”

She also shared some of her pre-camp workout on her Instagram story, casually draining corner threes like it was nothing. When camp officially started, she posted another video, this time signing everything from shirts and basketballs to iPads. “Signing shirts, basketballs, iPads…” she wrote, adding a crying-laughing emoji because.
And then came a sweet little moment behind the scenes. In another story clip, Fudd sat in a locker room chair, talking to a group of campers who listened intently as she talked to him and possibly shared words of encouragement. “Locker room chats 🩷,” she captioned it. While the drills and games are designed to help young hoopers develop their skills, the real magic was getting to meet their idol. Fudd has become a role model to so many, and it’s clear the admiration runs deep. She is to these kids what Stephen Curry once was to her.
And the best part is he’s still right there in her corner, supporting her every step of the way as she now inspires the next generation.
Steph Curry backs Azzi Fudd’s podcast
Azzi Fudd’s star keeps rising and this time, she’s doing it with a mic in hand. The UConn standout just dropped her own podcast titled Fudd Around and Find Out, produced in collaboration with iHeart Women’s Sports and Stephen Curry’s Unanimous Media. It’s a big deal for both Fudd and the platform, which just hit its one-year anniversary as the first-ever audio space dedicated entirely to women’s sports.
Fudd won’t just be lending her name, she’ll be hosting it too. And with her unique voice as both an elite player and a woman in sports, she’s hoping to spotlight stories that don’t always get told. Steph Curry’s all in.
The NBA legend took to Instagram to share Azzi’s podcast announcement, telling his 58.1 million followers: “New podcast @azzi35 Best believe I’ll be listening! Check it out, 8/7.” He’d already dropped a “Congrats Azzi!” in the comments and liked her post days earlier. So this wasn’t just a business move, it was a genuine moment in their long-standing connection, from Select Camp days to Curry Brand and beyond. But Steph may not be stopping at Fudd. He also hinted at bigger dreams, maybe even trying to get Bueckers join the Curry circle.
The two UConn stars are close, and if Steph’s thinking long-term, he might just be eyeing Paige as the face of his brand. Fudd has always been in the Curry crew. Could Bueckers be next?
