When asked what that meant to him during the TGL post-round presser on Tuesday, he said, “Well, the core group of girls that were on that team have been together since they were sick, so they’ve played traveled and they’ve played for Benjamin. To be able to end her high school career like that and to go on as a state champion is pretty cool. She’s going to Stanford in the fall, so everything is really trending.”
