Take an important note here. The James Family doesn’t chase the spotlight; the spotlight chases the James Family. Indeed, the Los Angeles Lakers’ NBA season came to an early and abrupt end this year. But that hasn’t stopped LeBron James or his wife, Savannah James, from making the headlines. Precisely, Vannah has been the star of the moment lately. From the red carpet of the Met Gala in an iconic burgundy ‘fit to Reframe Beauty’s debut, the mother of three is running the show in style.
And now, she’s back in the studio with her best friend, April McDaniels. The girl-bosses kept dropping subtle (read: loud) hints on Instagram about the return of the Everybody’s Crazy podcast. Now, as Tuesday rolled in, so did the first episode of season 4. And guess what? The laughter and hearty moments remain unchanged.
April had an interesting question waiting for Savannah James. She asked her, “What is happiness to you?” Well, ‘happiness’ is a subjective opinion for everyone, so the 39-year-old answered, “Happiness to me is when everything is, without being whimsical about it all, easy. Everything is easy when I’m happy. Like, communication is easy. Going through my day is easy. Talking to my kids and going through, you know, whatever it is that they’re going through, it’s, like, easy to give them a response to be able to deal with what they’re dealing with. It’s easy.”
Perhaps, things that are easy or make life less difficult on most days give joy to Savannah; that’s her definition of happiness. But she also chipped in, saying, “I definitely feel that nothing is easy to do. That’s what I mean when I say without being in the whimsical world at all. Like, definitely keeping a reality on it, but there is a way to move on a day-to-day basis that’s easy. I think that’s happiness to me.”
At the moment, Vannah’s life is transitioning like the moon. Her personal and professional life is taking unique turns with every milestone. This also includes the future of her kids, the businesses she’s running like a pro, and LeBron James’ future at the Lakers. Therefore, she is looking for something that’s easy to make her happy; that is adding to her happiness.
Savannah James’ definition of happiness comes in time when she has a lot on her plate
To begin with, Savannah James is managing two big businesses, along with running Everybody’s Crazy with April McDaniels. First, her community for women’s development, Let It Break, saw the light of day; and now, on May 15, Vannah launched her beauty line, Reframe Beauty. And in both cases, it was Zhuri Nova’s curious and innocent words that moved the 39-year-old power mom. Now, the spotlight is also moving toward her youngest son, Bryce James.
The 17-year-old is ready for college, he is setting the stage to walk into the Arizona Wildcats locker room with the fire that he runs in his DNA. Ready to embark on a journey at the University of Arizona, the shooting guard will be leaving his den to start afresh. Meanwhile, Savannah couldn’t hold her emotions as her little one suited up in a Louis Vuitton tux for prom on Monday. “Prom 2025 This is really taking me out @_justbryce,” Savannah captioned her IG post.

LeBron James is currently resting and recovering. He strained his MCL in Game 5 against the Wolves during the Playoffs. The Lakers made an early exit in Round One. That cast doubt on the King’s future with the franchise. As the NBA offseason approaches, the road ahead for the Akron Hammer remains a mystery.
In a world full of noise, Savannah James is choosing grace—and chasing her version of happiness. She is building dreams, guiding her children, and holding down a legacy with quiet strength. As LeBron heals and Bryce spreads his wings, Savannah finds joy in the ease of everyday moments. And that, to her, is happiness.
