Remember last month when Shaquille O’Neal went viral again, this time for leaving the TNT show mid-broadcast? At the time, Inside the NBA was discussing the disruptive performance of Kawhi Leonard’s game 2 in Round 1 of the Playoffs. Instead, the talking point became Shaq awkwardly running away, which later raised questions about his blader control. His co-host and social media absolutely trolled him about the issue, and it seems he was very good at hiding his real problem.
He lied not only on his podcast and on the next episode of the Inside Show, but also during the recent filming of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The host asked him what the issue was, and Shaq nonchalantly said, “So I know I had the number-two run, but it was really a number one.” Later, he added that his changed diet of drinking Olive Oil contributed to him running away to the bathroom.
“That’s what it said on Instagram. Said if you drink olive oil for 14 days, it clears stuff out, gets you a flat stomach. So I was trying it.” But Shaquille O’Neal couldn’t hide the truth anymore. “You know what? I just made a mistake. I lied to you on national TV. It wasn’t a number-one run. It was a number-two run.” The audience and the host erupted laughing, as they couldn’t believe what the NBA icon confessed on national television.
He continued, “I had to go bad. Oh, I had to go so bad.” So, the TNT crew was not wrong in adding a Porta Potty right beside the 53-year-old on the very next broadcasting day.
Let’s look at the instance where the Lakers legend fooled the American people by lying on his podcast. “America, don’t listen to Shaine and Lefkoe, I had a number one…that’s my confession to all you people with your little diaper things,” said O’Neal. On The Big podcast, the Big Aristotle objectively denied and rejected his co-host, Adam Lefkoe, and podcast producer Shaine Freeman’s acquisition of his “clenching” run. But now, the truth has been flushed out, and it may once again attract more market opportunities for the $500 million worth NBA icon.
Lying to people might help Shaquille O’Neal enter the $20 billion market product
Like Shaq stated previously, the jokes and memes began circulating once his awkward clenching run took place. He tried to get away from the jam by pointing out the new diet of drinking olive oil and plenty of water for hydration. Kenny ‘the Jet’ Smith was the first one to do it, “Hey, listen. He couldn’t hold it. After 40, you can’t hold it no more, Ernie.” Even the companies couldn’t hold in their interest and publicly came out courting Shaq.

“Shaquille O’Neal doesn’t have to worry about running off set for a bathroom break anymore … ’cause adult diaper brands are lining up to give him free product! #Exclusive story at the link in bio!” TMZ added a post about NorthShore Care — known for its “maximum absorbency products” has a proposal to partner up with the 4x NBA champion. This marketing pitch reached the TNT analyst as well, and he commented, “Hillarious”.
They even claimed to send a custom ‘Shaq Support Pack,’ with their extra-large & heavy-duty wipe. A NorthShore Care representative was confident that Big Diesel would be a perfect fit for their GoSupreme pack, which offers a 3XL size. Let’s not forget that the adult diaper market in 2022 was at $11.6 billion. Plus, the estimated growth could potentially reach $20.1 billion by the end of 2031. Although he has commented ‘hilarious’, there is no saying if the NBA icon won’t make the move into the lucrative industry.
