Sonya Curry Has This Member of Stephen Curry’s Family Obsessed in Fiery Recap With Cameron Brink

With the NBA All-Star game being in San Francisco, Stephen Curry was at the very center of it all. He hosted parties, helped improve the community, and attended each night. However, it wasn’t just him. Even the Curry household came forward to show support for the Baby Face Assassin. That included his mother, Sonya Curry who stepped into the crowd with her WNBA goddaughter looking splendid.

The 58-year-old took to Instagram to share her outfits across the three days. And Sonya Curry wasn’t alone. Fitted in a suit with grey trousers, she was joined by Sparks Cameron Brink along with her mother. In another picture, the mother of three sported an all-black look with a leather jacket and parachute pants. The last of her fits was a little more casual with a blazer and jeans.

The looks drew great reactions from the fans. Many admired her ageless beauty and amazing fashion. However, her daughter, Sydel Curry-Lee may have been her biggest fan in the crowd. “Looks were serveddd” she said reacting to her mother’s All-Star weekend fits.

And the weekend itself was truly special. The All-Star game was held in San Francisco for the first time in the city’s history. Her son, Stephen Curry heavily contributed during the weekend. “This beautiful Bay Area that’s been a part of my life for the past 16 years… the impact the game being here has had on both cities [Oakland and SF]. It was awesome from start to finish… It was a 10/10 experience for sure hosting [All-Star Weekend],” Curry claimed.

Moreover, like Sonya Curry, the Warriors’ living icon too did something special to commemorate the weekend.

Stephen Curry designed a shoe for the All-Star weekend

For Stephen Curry, the 2025 All-Star weekend was symbolic for many reasons. The electric Bay area crowd didn’t just collect at the Chase Center. Curry had the privilege to return to the Oracle, the place that saw every stage of Curry’s blossoming career. During all three days, the Chef played an active role.

He served as a ‘de facto’ host, showcasing the illuminating beauty and rich history that exists in both San Francisco and Oakland. But he also wished to seal those memories. And so he created a new colorway of his Curry 12s in honor of the two cities that he calls ‘home’.

The ‘What The Bay’ Curry 12s feature two mismatched sneakers, each created to celebrate San Francisco and Oakland. The left shoe is a calming blue which symbolizes the fog in the city. In contrast, the right shoe is a bright orange, meant to showcase the beautiful sunsets Stephen Curry often saw during his decade-long stay in Oakland.

The two-time MVP donned the sneaker during the All-Star game held at the Oracle. And the journey came full circle for Curry. He entertained the crowd, launching mind-boggling threes and taking breaths away with his shot-making ability. In the end, the last name called for the weekend would also be his own.

Stephen Curry was awarded the All-Star mini-tournaments MVP trophy as he led Shaq’s OGs to an inaugural win.
