One of them is Loreal Sarkisian, the wife of the Texas Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian. Instead of thriving under the name and fame of the famous head coach, Loreal is known for her contribution to the world of fashion. Since a few months back, things might be tougher for Loreal to manage. Courtesy? She has to perform mommy duties, taking care of her newborn. But that did not allow her to hit the ‘PAUSE’ button when it came to her career. Rather, Loreal explored a new arena hand in hand with Patrick Mahomes’ mother. The 2025 season is indeed going to be special for the Sarkisian couple. Firstly, Steve must be ready with a pen and paper to write a redemption story. After all, the Longhorns narrowly missed their shot to win the golden trophy during the 2024 Sugar Bowl. In his personal life, too, things have started to look great. He and Loreal have ironed out their differences, months after filing for a divorce in July 2024. As the chunky solitaire made a comeback on Loreal’s ring finger, the couple welcomed their baby boy on April 4. They definitely need gold stars in the art of hiding the pregnancy till the very last minute. In the meantime, Loreal’s dedication towards her work had never taken a backseat.
Do you know that Steve’s sweetheart was into athletics? In an interview, Loreal had described herself as a tomboy while growing up, who played softball and ran track. But the universe had different plans, and she eventually developed a penchant for fashion. Steve’s wife now works as a personal stylist, who is acclaimed worldwide. And Loreal’s talents are not just limited to the US nation. Back in September last year, she was spotted at the Paris Fashion Week, where she collaborated with the $548 million designer brand, Balmain Paris. Even on April 17, this year, days after delivering the baby, the fashion queen promoted the Met Gala. Turns out that Loreal is now on her way to oomph up her resume by trying her hand at something new. On May 2, she came with an IG post, breaking the news of her new partnership and project.
The caption read, “Honored to have partnered with @randimahomes and an incredible group of football moms for the @antoniancollegeprep Preparatory Golf Tournament! Grateful for the opportunity to support such a meaningful event.” So, finally, Loreal will be able to taste her childhood and her days with athletics. Even though golf has never been her forte, the joint mission to help Antonian College Prep HS, featuring Patrick Mahomes’ mother, Randi Mahomes, and others, might have inspired the new mommy. So, does this mean that amidst all these duties, her passion for fashion will be neglected? Absolutely not. There remains a postscript in the caption. It reads, “P.S. @randimahomes was styled by myself for this event .”
The mother of the Super Bowl MVP, who supports children’s welfare through the 15 and Mahomes Foundation, looked gorgeous in a white-colored, buttoned co-ord set. At the same time, the new mommy, Loreal, kept her fashion quotient high, as usual, with a black-colored jumpsuit. Remember, folks, the First Lady of Texas is a woman of her word.
A fresh start for Loreal Sarkisian
The Texas fans had no idea that the Sarkisian couple was about to welcome a newborn. They were a happy fam, as Loreal had welcomed Steve’s three kids from his previous relationship. Daughters Taylor and Ashley, and son Brady. Then, suddenly, on April 4, they came with the sweetest surprise for the Longhorns fans on Instagram. They wrote, “He’s arrived, and our hearts are so full of love and gratitude! Embracing these first days quietly resting, adjusting, and soaking in every little moment has been amazing! Thank you for your love and for respecting this sweet time of privacy XOLO .”
But many would have doubted that Loreal would now be homebound and taking a break from her career. This would have been indeed painful for the Texas First Lady’s big family on IG that consists of 140K followers. Also, one of the biggest attractions of Texas games is Steve’s wife’s Game Day looks. But then came a reassurance. Right after her child’s birth, Loreal came up with a heartfelt promise on her IG story.
It read, “Hi guys, happy Saturday. Sorry for the bare face… I’ll be back to regular scheduled program sooner than later. Um, but for now, I just want to say thank you so much to all of our close friends and family… And, of course, to all of the new fashionista friends and Longhorn’s nation.” A sisterhood of football moms may have nudged Loreal Sarkisian back toward life’s familiar rhythm.
