‘Stressed’ Like Never Before, Grieving Paige Spiranac Opens Up About Creator Classic Chaos

You would think only Barstool Trent was struggling at the Creator Classic. While the YouTubers were grappling with the brutal monster the back nine at TPC Sawgrass is, Paige Spiranac was fighting a battle of her own. Nervousness, anxiety, and the pressure of a debut.

Be it on the greens or be it off the greens, doing something for the first time is tough. Golf Mommy debuted as the on-course reporter at the Creator Classic, right before the PLAYERS. And to double the trouble for her, she had to face or battle with technical issues.

The celebrity golf influencer, who lost her dog barely weeks ago, sat down for a chat on her YouTube channel, to share her experience Creator Classic experience. Before going into the trouble part, Spiranac shared how it all works. The on-course reporter is connected to the broadcast team, the producers, and then the cameramen.

So, whatever you and we heard on the live, she was hearing it all. In addition to keeping tabs on what the producers were saying, and what the cameramen were telling her. Since it was live, you can’t make mistakes. “You’ve to be really into it,” Spiranac explained.

But she wasn’t hearing anything.

Not that she zoned out. As soon as she started walking, because of some technical issue, her signal phased out. Paige Spiranac recounted in the YouTube chat, “I couldn’t hear anything. It was like muffles, robot voices. I was trying to decipher, whose voice is who, where I needed to go, what I needed to do.

Even though a producer was walking with him (it was her first time doing this, remember), Spiranac was like a fish out of water. The producer was tapping her, whenever it was her cue to speak. And she had to rely on that for the first few holes.

It was a panic city. I had no idea what they were saying. I had no idea when I was supposed to be cued,” she said laughing. While she can joke about it now, at Sawgrass, she was a nervous wreck. “I had never been that stressed.” We too, after hearing this! Fortunately, for her, it worked out after a few holes, and her on-course broadcast was quite a hit among fans.
