Cam Ward will hold on to the No.1 jersey he wore at Miami as he transitions into the NFL. Considering the Titans had their No.1 retired as a tribute to Houston Oilers great Warren Moon. There was a lot of talk building up to the NFL draft about Ward’s No.1 jersey. However, it seems Moon had a pleasant surprise for their No.1 pick in this NFL draft. Moon slowly made his way to the podium as Ward was giving interviews to Tennessee reporters. He handed over the No.1 jersey as a blessing to Ward before he takes on the Titans’ starting job.
Speaking of the starting job under center, Brian Callahan ain’t in a hurry to reveal his decision. He said, “We’ll see. We don’t need to worry about that until September.”
Stay tuned! This space will be updated soon.
