Two Big Career Moves for Terry Bradshaw After 76-YO FOX Broadcaster’s Drastic Transformation

Imagine a balmy evening in Branson, Missouri. Tucked into the buzz of the Clay Cooper Theatre, fans shuffle in, clutching programs and grinning like they know a secret. It’s not game day, but the energy’s familiar—Terry Bradshaw’s about to hit the stage with his Terry Bradshaw Show. Yeah, that Terry. Four-time Super Bowl champ, TV analyst, country music crooner. He’s not suiting up, though—he’s storytelling, cracking jokes, and belting tunes straight from the heart. No helmets required.

Once he starts, he’s like that cool uncle who’s lived five lives and wants to spill ’em all over sweet tea and guitar chords. And let’s be real—his anecdotes about growing up in Louisiana, getting knocked around in the NFL, and that time he accidentally made Hollywood laugh? Well, you can’t fake this stuff—it’s raw, funny, weirdly deep. And that’s why everyone loves the show.

Back in December 2024, the Steelers‘ legend announced that The Terry Bradshaw Show will debut at the Clay Cooper Theatre in Branson, Missouri. Ever since then, the fans have been buzzing to see Bradshaw’s signature storytelling style. And now? Well, a couple of days ago, Clay Cooper Theatre announced that Bradshaw’s show is returning in May 2025.

The event date, you ask? Well, buckle up for not just one, but a couple of events in May 2025. We’re talking Bradshaw’s next concert on May 5 and May 12, 2025. Here’s a quick overview of the show: the concert is scheduled for 7:30 pm in Branson, MO, at Clay Cooper Theatre. And here comes the interesting part—as per TicketSmarter, there are 39 tickets available for this tour stop, with tickets ranging from $68.40 – $427.68.

The running time of the concert is two hours, including a 15-minute intermission. Bradshaw’s setlist while performing in Los Angeles, CA, at “Palomino Club” included songs like “Crazy Arms” and “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry.” As for his Clay Cooper Theatre concert? The setlist is still unclear. But his humor is certainly going to be there.

“You find out in life that people really like you funny. So what do you give ’em? Humor,” Terry once said. And that meant only one thing: you’re going to find Terry cracking jokes all while talking about his NFL career. And get this: you’re about to see the Steelers’ legend in a new avatar as he has lost a tremendous amount of weight.

Perhaps Terry Bradshaw just doesn’t like to be BIG

Back in his days, Terry Bradshaw had the prototypical size for an NFL quarterback of his era—big enough to take hits and strong enough to launch deep passes, which fit perfectly with the Steelers’ tough, power-football identity in the ’70s. We’re talking about a 6’3” tall and weighing over 200 pounds guy from Louisiana who led the Steelers to four Super Bowls.

But long gone are his Steelers days, and Bradshaw smoothly transformed into a sports analyst. The Steelers legend has been working as an analyst for 30 years. During this time, the 76-year-old Bradshaw has seen some highs and lows in his body, especially when he went through a rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis. Following his diagnosis, Terry’s treatment included steroids that had him gaining weight.

However, if you’ve followed him in the last couple of years, you know that Bradshaw has lost a tremendous amount of weight. We’re talking 48lbs. Plain and simple. And he just revealed how he lost all this weight. “I ended up getting rheumatoid arthritis, and so they put me on steroids, and it took forever to find out what steroid worked. And so I put on so much weight and I got big and I just, I couldn’t get it off,” Bradshaw noted.

From then on, Terry consulted his weight gain with his wife Tammy, and somehow, the man went on to lose 48 pounds. “So Tammy got me started on one of those shots, and I’ve been on this shot about a year now, and I’ve lost 48 pounds,” he continued. “I’m doing it periodically now, I don’t stay on it now, I’m doing periodic because I’ve got it under control.” The shot he’s talking about? Well, it’s a mystery.

But we can just say the Steelers legend is probably talking about some sort of injection to help with his weight loss. But if you’re thinking that he’s done—yeah, not exactly. The Steelers’ legend intends to lose another 20 lbs. “But I’ve got 20 I want to lose. I’m hoping I’ll lose 20 more pounds in another year, so that’ll put me down to around 208, which is where I should be,” he said. At the end of the day, it’s safe to say Terry Bradshaw still adheres to keeping himself fit.
